As a not-for-profit organisation, Alpine Synchro relies on the support of our artistic swimming families to assist in the running of the club. There are a number of roles and activities (one-off and ongoing) where we would love your help, including:

  • coaching (learning, assisting)
  • judging (learning)
  • fundraising (applying for grants, sourcing donations, helping at special events)
  • sponsorship (sourcing, giving)
  • uniforms (sourcing, management)
  • competition swimsuits (sourcing, beading)
  • assist with performances (organise, hair/makeup, set up/clean up)
  • assist at competitions (team managers)
  • organise social events
  • Committee Member (meeting via online meetings once a month)

Donations & Sponsorship

There are a number of costs involved in running the club and in order to keep classes affordable to allow more children to attend and to keep competition costs down so those children can compete, we warmly welcome donations & sponsorship from individuals and organisations. 

Donations and sponsorship goes towards costs not covered by training fees such as:

  • additional coaching fees
  • additional pool lane hire
  • coach and judge training & development costs
  • performance expenses (swimsuits, hair accessories, makeup)
  • competitions expenses (entry fees, additional pool training costs, travel & accommodation, coaches and judges costs, performance swimsuits)
  • uniform subsidies
